Don't miss out on opportunity for funding - One firm an hour is asking how to get £25 million fund
THE launch of the Going for Growth campaign by the Bristol Post and the Local Enterprise Partnership is already starting to gain momentum.
Even though the campaign was started less than two weeks ago the level of inquiries with the team overseeing the fund has been running at around one every hour.
As reported in the Bristol Post, a pot of £25 million is up for grabs as part of the Regional Growth Fund.
The West of England Local Enterprise Partnership successfully bid for the money which is aimed at kick-starting the region's economy back into life.
Firms of all shapes and sizes can apply for the cash on condition that it will be used to create or safeguard existing jobs.
The hope is around 400 firms will take part creating or safeguarding 1,300 jobs in the process.

A spokesman for the Going for Growth team said: "We are getting firm inquiries at the rate of at least one an hour. So far we have had just over 100 firms express an interest in taking part, the launch of the campaign has really helped us.
"We have had plenty of expressions of interest from the smaller firms and the start-ups but we want some of the larger organisations to get involved as well."...
