MORE than 30 companies have already expressed an interest in taking part in our Going for Growth campaign.
As reported in the Bristol Post, the local enterprise partnership has a fund of £25 million to hand out to small- and medium-sized businesses in the West.
Firms looking to create or safeguard jobs can apply for funding of between £10,000 and £1million for training schemes, cash investments or research and development.
And Avon Precision Engineering, which is based in Bitton, South Gloucestershire, and makes parts for the aviation industry, is hoping to help pay for a planned expansion with a grant from the fund.

The Going for Growth campaign gives firms a unique chance to apply for grants worth up to £1 million.
